CVH-OMFB Limited will launch an all-new range of polyethylene hydraulic oil tanks at this year’s Road Transport Expo (RTX) at NAEC Stoneleigh, marking the first time the plastic tank solutions will be presented at the event.

Manufactured using a high-performance rotational moulding process with crosslinkable polyethylene, the new tanks are engineered for durability, reduced weight and reliability.

Available in 12-litre, 30-litre and 46-litre capacities, they weigh just 3kg, 4.5kg and 6kg respectively.

Each tank includes a breather filler cap, integrated oil level and temperature indicators, reinforced ports for both feed and return connections, reinforced filter mounting points and robust integrated mounting fixtures. CVH-OMFB says the design offers a modern, low-maintenance alternative to traditional steel tanks.

The new tanks are targeted at a broad range of applications including access platforms, lifting equipment, winter maintenance vehicles, 3.5t–12t tippers and recovery trucks.
