DAF Trucks is preparing for the launch of RTX Scotland, the new Scottish edition of the Road Transport Expo, which will take place at Glasgow’s SEC from 19th to 20th November.
The event represents a major new platform for Scotland’s road transport sector, and DAF will have a prominent presence, demonstrating its commitment to innovation, engineering excellence and dealer support.
Visitors to the DAF stand will be able to view two of the most advanced trucks currently on the road: the New Generation DAF XG+ 530 FTS tag-axle 6×2 tractor, designed for long-haul efficiency and comfort, and the XD Electric 350 FT 4×2 tractor, built for zero-emission heavy-duty operations.
Together, the models highlight DAF’s dual focus on fuel efficiency and decarbonisation, offering operators a clear view of the future of road transport.
The exhibition is expected to attract transport operators from across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. DAF will be joined by its regional dealer partners to provide advice and insight into its full vehicle line-up, support services and connected solutions.
Louis Jones, EV and connected services director at DAF Trucks, will also take part in the RTX Scotland Big Debate: Future Truck Technology. The session will see industry leaders discuss developments in fuelling, automation, safety and connectivity. Attendees will be able to engage with the panel using the interactive Slido platform.
