Delsol International appoints Claire Maddock as finance director following first year growth
Delsol International has appointed Claire Maddock as finance director as the North Wales logistics firm targets £1m turnover following its first year as an independent business.
Delsol International has appointed Claire Maddock as finance director following what the business described as a successful first year of independent trading.
The North Wales logistics firm separated its international operation from the wider Delsol Group in July 2024 as part of a strategic restructure led by group chief executive Kathy Jones.
The company said it is now on track to achieve turnover of £1m in the coming year, driven by growing demand for international logistics services and continued operational expansion.
Maddock has worked within the Delsol business since 2010 and has been involved in invoicing operations and wider commercial decision-making across the group.
Claire Maddock, finance director at Delsol International, said: “I am honoured to take on this new role and continue to contribute to the success of the team. I appreciate the recognition of my hard work and dedication to the Delsol Group, and I will do my best to live up to this new challenge.
“I’m really looking forward to how the company grows in the future. The team are extremely hard working and enthusiastic to make a success of Delsol International. I’m grateful to be a part of it.”
Maddock joins a senior leadership team that also includes global commercial strategy manager Jake Smithurst and international business operations manager Dylan Walker.
Smithurst joined the business after completing a law degree and now oversees commercial strategy and business development activity.
