Fly By Nite predicts £100k saving through adopting Webfleet

Fly By Nite has predicted that it will make £100,000 worth of savings over the next three years by adopting a fleet management solution from Webfleet.

Webfleet will flag harsh breaking and speeding, provide risk scores for its drivers and allow for CO2 reporting.

Fly By Nite initially implemented Webfleet’s Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring System (EBPMS) last year, and has now extended the partnership to include tachograph management, CO2 reporting and OptiDrive 360 driver behaviour monitoring.

Driver card and vehicle data is automatically downloaded remotely.

The company has full visibility of driving time, maintenance and rest periods through a customised dashboard.

Webfleet completed the rollout across the 201-vehicle fleet 10 days ahead of schedule.

Luke Price, transport manager at Fly by Nite, said: “Our drivers can be on tour across Europe for months at a time and we’re constantly firefighting issues on the road, from extreme weather to last-minute venue changes.

“But we cannot afford to miss a ferry or arrive late to a show, given the millions at stake.
